I've noticed the odd 'pause' every now and again, but I thought it was just my PC.

It seems to be taking a long time for my bets to be reaching the markets too, I keep getting beaten to nice trades! Oh well, in fairness to betfair the API has improved considerably since the trouble last winter

That was some late move on Corsica - looked like someone chucked in about £20k. Thankfully was on the right side of the move.

I needed that as I have had a shocker today until then which now makes the day look at least respectable.

Today has been the toughest for me as well, no where near as good as the other days. I thought it was me though being too distracted by the footy, but it has been quite volatile today.

Racing is better quality tommorrow, a good few group ones to look forward to.

Hmm, I think it's been the toughest Ascot I have done in my lengthy trading career. I haven't enjoyed it but I has suspected that would be the case. I'll get some money for the week but well below my record for Ascot.

FYI, Top three runners in that 26 runner field accounted for 55% of the total volume.

Anyone bookmaking or using large amount to make the market will really be cursing that guy, must be almost impossible to manage your liability when 20k plus smashes through you

Hope they catch it quickly and end its misery
