I thinking this evening's news wasn't grim enough as the price has contracted quite a bit again.
Yeah there was a bit of activity that saw the price touch 1.5 but as you say, not gloomy enough!

One other view held, is that there would have been race meetings cancelled over the weekend by now, then we'd know for sure.

Also, the government would "let" the BHB take the lead, so let's see.....

As Euler said, it's getting closer to the free money stage....

Although Genesis getting back together is pretty grim.

People on twitter seem to be moralising on this market.

If somebody put up a market for over under 25000 infections, that would be horrific. But I don't see a market around whether a meeting will go ahead as on dodgy ground at all?

What's the forum's opinion?

IDK I was trying to abstain from it completely, was looking to maybe lay early but then realized I'd be kind of hoping for more infections and more bad news. Then I was okay with backing "Yes" a bit but just closed after a few ticks as it still didn't feel right.

Stock markets trade on bad news everyday of the week including the impact of the corona virus.

Some people think gambling itself is immoral and will always look for a reason to condemn it.

Slightly off topic of Cheltenham but flybe is about to collapse and declare bankruptcy with coronavirus and lack of travel tipping them over the edge

This could throw a spanner in the works for the Tuesday 'going ahead' market.

Yep.

Not seen who's talking what on Twitter and haven't seen Peter's latest video about it but who honestly cares what others think, you do you, I'm sure people on here are perfectly capable of forming their own opinions and deciding whether they like the market or no.
