Below average day for me £63 profit,

Seemed like plenty of money about but usualy does when there's onlt 2 meetings.

I must admit I could have traded much better.

I did ok, but nothing of any note. Fouled up on the last race which dumped about 15% of the day, but that's life. I've written off this week already due to the weather, so anything will be a bonus!

Bad day for me but again I don't feel it was due to the XM as I was trading both tracks just as badly so that would indicate it wasn't XM causing my problems.

My mindset was rubbish, felt tired after a late night and early wake up - damn delivery drivers!!!

Not the best way to end the month but still well above expectations so no complaints over all.

You dont know you're born, you full timers! Just be glad you're not a delivery driver! I Was out and about early this morning and couldnt open the doors of the car!

A neutral day for me, but a good month overall..

Did you notice anything from the data Peter?

Nothing of interest, I guess I don't have a big enough sample just yet.

Just received email today from Betfair:

"Betfair would like to announce the launch of Cross Matching within its Australian markets" .

Will be interesting in seeing how it goes.

Do you have any initial observations Peter of the Pre Play XM?
I'm hoping to do some trading today with a bit of luck..

Thanks

Not enough to go on at the moment. The small data I have is not statistically significant enough.

Hi
It's been just over a month now since this was implemented...(Over 500+ races- UK/Ireland)
Does anyone have any views on how the XM has altered their trading?? (Particularly Pre Race PLease)...

In running, I've noticed that the number bets per hour I'm submitting is less, but my overall profit hasn't dropped.
This can only be a good thing IMO as when we get to the summer and there are 800+ races a month, 1000/Bets and hour can be easily exceeded and in doing so incur more charges.

One other thing i've noticed is that courses that I knew to be courses that had shown a loss on average, are not necessarily losing now. (I use NigelK's excellent spreadsheet)...so have decided that I am going to start recording a new set of results starting tomorrow..

Sorry waffled on a bit there!..Just getting back to my original request; Would be keen to hear from any pre race traded and how (if any) the XM has altered your results, P&L, Strike Rate etc..

Thanks
Peter

Obviously its been a strange month with the weather etc so its hard to compare as the cancellations can have an effect on the races that are left behind, but all in all I'd say it certainly hasn't had a negative effect, at least for me

Wasn't is just a test for one day, they didn't implement it permanently, or did I miss something? :?

You might be right Peter?
I've just emailed Betfair (Didnt want to log into the Betfair Announcement Notice, as I'm running at 20/Req/Sec, and I've paid enough charges this month!)..
Will let you know if/when I get a reply..
