who needs Betfair, not me
The rise of betdaq
Cracking Results. Yours too Freddyandyfuller wrote:Nice win to end the day on of £36 which is equal to a £90 win on BF @ 60% PC:
assuming 800 races a month in the summer and just £5 race would give you 4k, thats circa £10k on betfair at the maximum PC 'Tax'
Just a though; have you found that The betfair price still leads and Betdaq follows, or is it getting less so now?
Well done guys anyway

Finding it pretty good on Betdaq today, fill rate seem to have improved a lot since early on in the week. Still missing not having a greening column though

I know it is calculated differently but £1 million on Betdaq is some change compared to the past surely!

Really seemed to be good today liquidity wise, there were several £1,000,000+ races and the big race at Ascot almost hit £2,000,000.
When you think most of the money matched is at the front of the book the differences in calculation methods still means it was very good.
Would love to see some stats on the markets as it felt a heck of a lot better. The fill rate was much better as well I found.
I didn't manage anything quite as good as Peter did but managed consistent wins with the odd loss. Managed to get a respectable 3 figures again despite forgetting what odds I had laid or backed at a good few times. I really should pay more attention but am too used to having the greening column.
How did others find it?

The increase in volumes put me off my stride last week but I am back on it now. I had an epiphany today so I've started to do a lot better at the smaller races. It's coming together nicely, just in time for Goodwood.
