I'm going in-play in the next at Royal Ascot. 100 ticks back-to-lay on 'NicolasCopernicus' :D

Didn't get the last one. Ah well. Can't win 'em all. The outsiders were coming in last couple of days. Good for Jolly and his lays no doubt.

what a day yesterday. I completely messed up bigtime!! Took my worst loss pretty much ever after I got caught inplay! Went off the rails for the next race and compounded it all!

Today I am scaling everything back and just going to attempt a normal day with no mistakes!

Here's another Zenyatta In-play special for you all for Royal Ascot.

3.45, Royal Ascot, 'Homecoming Queen', Back-to-lay, 100 ticks, take any price over 4.0 pre-race and keep in-play.

The horse is very classy, it only flopped last time out because it didn't get the ground it wanted. The track at Royal Ascot is now on the softer side, perfect for 'Homecoming Queen' on this occasion. The horse is also a front runner, you want to take the price on this one, and look to get out somewhere between 1.60-1.90, once it's booted out to a reasonable lead and still (hopefully) challenging to win in the home straight. 100 ticks easy.

Good luck if you're playing.

Ladbrokes cut 11/4 @ 13.30.Looks like a few showers about ,stopping any drying out of ground. If ASTROLOGY wins race before QUEEN could go off at 2/1.Filling my boots at 3.6 Zenyatta and shouting it on!!

they're horrible those days. i've had a few this year and it's mentally difficult to scale back but defo a necessity to get back into rhythm.

'had a cr@p day too yesterday - blew the day's profits in 2 races, but had a good result on the footie. swings and roundabouts.

here's hoping for a good end to the week.

Just got to dust myself off and get straight back into it. Have kept my nose cleanish today but already thrown profit down the drain by getting caught inplay! Need to curb that for the rest of the session!

Sorry to hear of the trouble JR. It's amazing how things like that can affect our confidence and form, even after doing this for years! Before I started trading I always used to wonder why on earth top sportsmen who'd been so successful could find their confidence hit by the odd bad result, not anymore.

Like you say, just back to basics for a while and try to keep your nose out of trouble! Wont be long before you're flying again I'm sure

Oh right thanks, it was fine fortunately yesterday after the first race. Let's hope it can stay good for everyone for the rest of Ascot

The clown trying to hold down Mijhaar with £10,000 just got a nice spanking as the horse went down too freely. Managed to lay my bank against them :-)

Best race of the week for me.
