U.S Open 2013
Murray did look good, he kept his focus well the whole match it bodes well.
We got the price we wanted on Haas but he needs to pick up his first serve or he's cooked. He's hitting to many unforced errors and his first serve is at 53%, terrible.

whats happened with David Ferrer price, I notice its gone back out to 90, I took your advice Redhead got 100 at the start, he now faces maybe his toughest test so far this tournament, what would be your advice as he going into this match.
p.s
just want to thank you Redhead for great write ups on the tennis, made me afew quid this week.

Glad you've made a profit, I had a good week last week as well.
I've been out all day and just caught up watching Halep give the match to Pennetta, very disappointing.
Ferrer & Tipsarevic may possibly go 5 sets as there very close on the stats but Ferrer is a warrior and should have to much mental fortitude for Tipsy. Ferrer will find a way to win, hopefully we'll get him at over 1.80.
I got home, powered up and they were just drying the court and I feared the worst then as Penetta is the quicker off the blocks, if the rain had stayed away Halep would have won.kroni wrote:yes the halep match was annoying, she was 5 - 4 up and it was set point and the rain delayed it, I left for a while and when I returned it was nearly all over.
Tipsy & Ferrer are serving up a treat - tennis wise and the movements up and down the ladders, in fact i'm annoyed I missed Tipsy at over 12's. Must Pay ATTENTION.
Euler> yes, good point. 32 is well past it. (He said, nervously)
I sometimes feel Fed is just going through the mopstions this season because one of his ad contracts requires ATP participation up to end 2013. He's got a couple of young kids at home and a wedge in the bank... it's obvious retirement is the next step.
Couple of years dossing around and then he'll hit the commentator circuit.

Not much value on the trading front today I'm afraid.
Vika is dominant over Ana and the best we can hope for is a small lay to back on Azarenka, it maybe worth waiting until/if she wins the 1st set before we enter as she always seems to start well. Ivanovic will give it her best shot and could go close, maybe take a set but ultimatly Vika wins.
The other early match is Youzhny V Hewitt and i'm quite confident Leyton can come away with the win here as Youzhny playing well as he is; is only a bad call away from a complete mental meltdown, he nearly boiled over in his last match against Haas. Stats are close and this could well go 5 sets which tips it in Hewitts favour because if you actually look at Hewitt's results in the past 3 years for best of 5 set matches, his winning percentage looks like this:
2011: 45%
2012: 53%
2013: 61%
Comparing both players overall for best of 5 has Hewitt at 72% & Youzhny at 59%. Leyton to grind out a win and set up a quarter-final against Nole.
