This will not work all the time as you will have to use your judgement.

Set an entry point and exit point and stick to it....

I suspect it will take a year or two before you make consistent money.

Don't ever think you are better than any other trader as there are some bots that can manipulate a market quicker than you can say $&@?....
never said I'm better than anyone infact I'm just learning :) if some guys can make fortune I could at least make 250£ a month? that's what I'm after :)

You'll find this is a journey of discovery!

It will possibly even expose elements of your personality and character that you had been unaware of!

However, what works for me might not work for you.
If you've made 2% of your stakes, that's a great start - it's more than you'd get in bank interest.

Just keep avoiding the pitfalls - remember to trade not gamble, don't trade with alcohol in your system, and don't trade when you have an erection in your shorts.....all of these things stop the brain from working properly!

I often use dutching/bookmaker tabs, but in terms of horse racing you need to be aware of non runners - that can change the market dramatically

Yes I do - not 'in play' though, as I'm not a genuine fan of the sport

However, liquidity on NBA is generally pretty good (although not as good as days gone by) and I've had great success over the years on pre-event markets where there's only 2 runners. I suppose this initially came from my love for Tennis and my passion for Tennis markets, but anything where there's 2 runners (Basketball, American Football, Tennis, Goals Over & Under, Snooker, Darts (non premier league)) have been a source of great trading for me

Ultimately, they are very easy to read, as when 1 price is coming in, the other has to go out. It's also easy to dutch and bookmake these markets because you only need 2 matched bets

I'm about to do a blog post about NBA. I was amazed when I was in the US at how liquid the NBA markets were. So surprised to here you say volume is falling.

I have no figures to back that up Peter, so I might be talking crap. It just feels as though the 'fill rate' has slightly declined, but like I say I might be totally wrong
