I think this is what is known as artistic licence. Pure fiction. Perhaps an element of the US domination of F1? All glitz and no substance.ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2025 11:57 amNew F1 movie, why pick Brad Pitt?
He's 61 ffs and looks nothing like a modern day F1 driver.![]()

Perhaps they are trying to attract a more female audience, as F1 fans and motor sports generally are almost overwhelmingly male (and their spouses).greenmark wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2025 6:31 pmI think this is what is known as artistic licence. I know it will be far easier to get my better half to watch an F1 film if Brad Pitt is starring in it

I'm not so sure, there's a lot of women who enjoy it, all the women in my family do anyway.Crazyskier wrote: ↑Thu Feb 13, 2025 11:31 amPerhaps they are trying to attract a more female audience, as F1 fans and motor sports generally are almost overwhelmingly male (and their spouses).

I shouldn't be so judgemental really, I'm the same age as Mr Pitt and I haven't given up on the idea of being an F1 driver yet. He's 'inspirational'

Most open betting I've seen at the start of the season. Drive to Survive is always a good way to start it and remember last year. And looking fwd to seeing Lewis's new wardrobe full of red outfits.
Don't mine who does well as long as its not Horner, DTS really exposes him as a unpleasant character.

Lewis drove the sprint race magnificently to finish over 7 seconds ahead, I thought. Great to see him back to winning ways so soon. Tomorrow will be a different story, I'm sure.

Can't see Horner being in charge next year, lost the 2024 constructors cos he stuck with Checo, hired a worse replacement, the car hasn't progressed and there's his wandering hands issue. He even managed to lose Adrian Newey.
Max will say it's either him or me, and Helmut Marko likes Max.

I'm concerned about what's going to happen to Lando's mental state when Oscar wins the title this year.

I see Tsunoda's replacing Lawson in Japan. I'm not see seeing 'superstar' there either.
Horner should have snapped up Sainz when he needed a drive.

Best thing for Lawson to be dropped, I think the attitude inside the Reb Bull team is toxic, will be interesting to see how the new driver goes with that car. Lawson needs to knuckle down and prove himself with the goal of looking for a new team. I think he wants to be there as much as they want him there, I think it suits both parties. But I am a Kiwi so I am bias
