They will throw T&C's at you. In my time on Betfair 'exceptional' issues have cost me a good five figure sum but not once have I been offered any goodwill payment.

When I try to access racing on the main site it says it is down due to 'planned maintenance!!' Just when we were thinking how good it has been lately

It seemed to me they suspended 5:30 at Kempton before the site actually crashed,
strange considering it was about 5.27 at the time :?

lost my days profit but ill get over it and i have been on the other end of the scale so i guess it evens out in the end.

I always wondered what would happen to their share price if the site crashed. Tomorrow morning we will find out!

I always feel really sorry for people caught out in a crash. It can take a lot of effort to get a big loss back.

Well if the last few days are anything to go by the share will continue to rally strongly given the shambles there has been on the Poker side of things the last few days :!:

Given the mess with the Poker you would have expected the share price to have fallen as the confidence in the poker site must be at an all time low.

Was this maintenance planned?

Didn't notice anything. Anyway, I still have some time to close a position. I'm sorry for you Petardo...

I don`t understand why they do maintenance now in evening and not morning when it`s not busy.Where can I find the future planned maintenance?

There are reports on the BF forum that while the main site was down and API you could still access it via the BF lite site and mobile.

What ever happened to planned maintenance? We used to get it most weeks on a Tuesday or Wednesday - can't say I have seen one in months and months???

This is typical. Spent ages working on a Greyhoubnd handicapping system and just as I get it just right and want to actually try it with REAL money the bloody site goes down :( :( .

Feel sorry for all those who may have lost on their bets. Its bad enough when your selection doesn't come good but when its BF's fault it must be extremely gutting.
