Agree its a crazy difference on the win part but would u lay the place part of a 200/1 shot in a 8 runner race with a 1/4 fav?

I am expecting the place price to be bigger then 16/1 and if so that is crazy

That's why the EW format is so outdated! In Aus you have a price for the win and a price for the place separately so punters can get a bigger win price in case of situations like this.

That was one of the worse falls ive ever seen for a horse @2.45 Chepstow

Everyday is an emotional rollercoaster. I know plenty would think I was soppy but it's so hard seeing these horses fall like that. It's like so much of country life, you're supposed to be hardened to it, but it's never easy on the heartstrings. :(

Don't really watch jumps racing for that exact reason, awful to see! But it must be heart wrenching for those at the stable :cry:

Same here usually....I just move to the next market. Every job I've had as been a moral dilema, from making rich people richer in the city... to the business of horses. I should have been a plumber.
