I think we can safely say there is no outstanding team in this WC.

Even Brazil as clear favourites are far from unbeatable

So if England are ever going to do it!

Most bizarre pinball in the France penalty area. How there was no goal is beyond me.

Argentina drifted a tick after their win against Australia. France barely moved after being a goal up against Poland.

Is stopping before taking a penalty allowed? I'm sure I've seen a retake in the past with the penalty taker penalised.

On that performance by Giroud and Mbappe there is no point England getting past Senegal. The only hope would be exploiting Lloris's gaffe-prone mentality.
