Just looked at in-running football tonight Betdaq limited list, shame would like to ditch Betfair.

Was finally able to login to my account. Cost me 200 euros so far. Still have an open position, but can't close it

They keep tweeting that customers funds are secure
which makes me feel less and less secure !

Closing the spread on Betdaq when Betfair is down is licence to print money

If it's a DDOS, there's no reason to think the funds aren't secure. Not being able to close out a position is a different matter - I guess betfair will claim force majeure.

I am out now, with little damage. Live to trade another day :-)

with so many unhappy customers I doubt it. Especially those that had their account locked or paid lots of premium.

I can no longer use BETDAQ because of location but this was something I thought they had to improve also if they really wanted their exchange to improve. I imagine football has much more appeal to the general public than horses, which is where the efforts seem to go.

Looks like a repeat of yesterday. Good luck on betdaq everyone in the UK, shame I can't join you.

EDIT: looks like it's just one of my ip addresses that has problems. The machine that is in a data center times out on most requests, the one at home doesn't.

Yeah, some funny behaviour for me too.

I only get an issue with football markets. Lags of 10-20 secs sometimes. Racing seems to be fine.

I wonder if it's because they've blocked multiple simulataneous connections after what happened yesterday.
