Everton fans were jeering their own players last match, I could see Rafa Benitez getting sacked if they lose to Liverpool tonight. Shame the sack market only has a few hundred matched.
I really thought Rafa would do well, he's finally at a club that is allowed to spend some money, but apparently they have bigger problems at the club.

I always thought Rafa was overrated to be honest.
the thing I find if trading U23s is higher rate of a number of late goals (or that's what I perceive)psychoff wrote: ↑Wed Dec 01, 2021 10:54 amSome of them
I personally put it down to that they're giving 125% at the start of the match to try and impress (youthful exuberance) and therefore there becomes a lot of tired legs on the pitch.
Perhaps. But then look at his contemporaries. Fergie, Wenger, Ancelotti and Mourhino. Any success in that context is worthy of respect.Trader Pat wrote: ↑Wed Dec 01, 2021 3:08 pmKai wrote: ↑Wed Dec 01, 2021 11:05 amEverton fans were jeering their own players last match, I could see Rafa Benitez getting sacked if they lose to Liverpool tonight. Champions of Europe. But he is surely going to suffer the drag of being ex-liverpool manager every time Everton fall short.
And I have to admit it ain't going well so far for him with the Toffee's. And to ensure there is no red v blue gloating here, I really want Rafa to succeed.
As I've said before, the perfect end of season league table for me would be: Tranmere; Liverpool and Everton.

100% agree with your observation. That's why we usually see very high odds at extra time of youth gamesODPaul82 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 01, 2021 5:42 pmthe thing I find if trading U23s is higher rate of a number of late goals (or that's what I perceive)

I think his biggest achievement was back to back La Liga's with Valencia. Obviously Champions Lge with Liverpool is the biggest trophy on his CV but what's he done since? A Europa Lge with Chelsea as interim manager isn't much to show in 16 years considering he's managed Inter, Napoli and the biggest club in the world in Real Madrid.greenmark wrote: ↑Wed Dec 01, 2021 6:49 pmPerhaps.
