I always say you have to enjoy what you do.Yes this time of year is different, but it isnt as bad as most make out,or everybody would shut up shop till Cheltenham.Korattt wrote: ↑Fri Feb 17, 2017 5:04 pmquestion for the experienced on here, the first February you traded, how did you handle it mentally?, it's obviously arguably the worst time of year, another forum that I read members say, don't worry, you're so close, etc etc which to be honest doesn't really help when you trade every day & you try & try & try until you feel drained, basically what gets you through this time of year?
If your not trying to get massive amounts matched it should not be a problem. And with experience youll recognise the tracks to avoid because of the volatility in the markets. And if your only using small stakes/bank its no different from evening racing in the summer,or any racing at any time of the year.
So I wouldnt assume that just because its February that your finding it difficult.
Why do you feel drained / Is it because you dont feel your making progress, losing money, spending too many hours at your computer?
Can I ask whatare your reasons for trading etc,how long have you been doing it,do you just trade on the ladder etc?
