Boris now neck and neck with Sunak and flipped fav earlier before dropping back a little, now @ 2.16
This would surely be the most remarkable comeback in UK politics, perhaps ever?
Fascinating!
UK General Election 2024 (or 25)
I can't believe they're daft enough to have him back. If he wins there could be calls for his resignation within weeks when the investigation concludes.

He looks like a drunk and agitated businessman who got laid off yesterday, slept in a car park, and hasn't been home since.Archangel wrote: ↑Fri Oct 21, 2022 1:36 pmI laughed out loud a few times![]()

I'm not terrified of him, he just makes me want to vomit, nevertheless, I'm looking forward to all the comedy and people saying, "why did we have him back?". After all the chaos and turmoil the party/government has been through in the last year and they want the man who started it all back.

Seriously though, I don't think people who lost relatives to Covid and couldn't visit them or bury them will be so forgiving. Nor will people who are paying an extra £500 a month for the Tory experiment or are made homeless.
this is also a good un, tho not quite as comic!Archangel wrote: ↑Fri Oct 21, 2022 1:36 pmI laughed out loud a few times![]()

For those who want a general election.
The King has it within his power to call one if he believes it is in the country's best interests. That last happened back in 1834.
Although, that would put the King / Royal Family in direct conflict with the government, who, in return, could seize all Royal assets.
Charles is not a fan of Boris, so he might do it if BJ is elected the new/next PM.
Funny old times.

The issue wasn't celebrating but prioritizing his celebrations above others, visiting dying relatives and attending their funerals.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 21, 2022 10:48 amWho cares if Boris was having a drink or cake when people were dying of Covid. Did Boris bring it to the country, no he didnt, he also nearly died of it too.
What about all the people in the UK dying at the moment from god knows what, does that mean each of us shouldn’t be celebrating something we like, of course not.
I think he's really angry that that will be his last rant at Truss.jamesedwards wrote: ↑Fri Oct 21, 2022 1:48 pmHe looks like a drunk and agitated businessman who got laid off yesterday, slept in a car park, and hasn't been home since.Archangel wrote: ↑Fri Oct 21, 2022 1:36 pmI laughed out loud a few times![]()

I'd go along with that. Instead of political parties fighting each other they should get together and fight the monarchy.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 21, 2022 1:55 pmFor those who want a general election.
