I can't delete any flipping Outlook folders - they keep coming back!!

Are your outlook folders synched to an email server?

Yes, but I deleted them all last night. I think the problem is, if there's a delay between syncs, it doesn't know what came first, the edit or the delete.

But you can force a sync surely. I struggle with thi stuff tbh. But I had concluded that outlook on my pc was just a copy of what was on my hotmail gmail accounts.
Mainly because I lost some emails I really wanted to keep. When I went to gmail they were still there. So I'd only zapped them off my laptop ie the local outlook. Sorry, this isn't helping is it. Hope you suss it out.

The EU has a Europe-wide standard for everything these days, from building regulations to accepting cookies. There's probably even one for wiping your arse, that nobody mentions. Why didn't they have one for passwords?

Start by placing the kidney beans in a saucepan ... bring to boil then turn off the heat and leave to soak ... it's best to start this off before you go to work in the morning or if you work at home they need soaking for at least 2 hours. When you're ready to cook...!!!

This seems a little like how the NF and BNP appropriated the Union Jack as their emblem. It never was and will never be an emblem for racists.
Hitler liked Beethoven. And appropriated the music for his own ends. Beethoven sails way above Hitler IMO. One was a master of beauty the other rained carnage on the world. I'm happy for us to use Ode to Joy. I'd balk at "Deutcshland uber alles".

Team GB has often been criticised by the Scots and Welsh. Many of their athletes fail/refuse to sing the English national anthem.

It’s long overdue in my opinion, Team GB should be defunct. Scotland and Wales should go their own way.

And given both their administrations view on immigration then there should be hard / manned borders with England. Like Hungary has with the rest of the EU.

And a daft one. Mate we're an island, it's always baffled me why there is so much animosity between England, Wales and Scotland. NI is a whole diferent discussion, but for me, NI is part of the UK.
I think devolving political power was the right thing to do.The power in the UK has been London-centric for far too long. How do you spread that power? I have no idea at all. But the nations of the UK all becoming increasingly insular is like Brexit. Pull up the drawbridge, blinkers on.
The frictionless trade we had with the EU was a gift. We were at the top table to form EU poicy. But we blew it. Surely, we can't break up the UK with the concomitant bureaucracy that would entail

We could have shaped Europe but now it’s too late, we have nothing the EU needs and to get back in would need all 28 to agree. They not going too as many of them have massive immigration problems and Hungary is anti UK / Russia policy. And possibly over the next 2 days Macron could be gone in France and replaced by Le Penn who is also anti UK.

We weren’t at the top table. France and Germany never allowed anyone apart from those to sit there. Italy and Spain tried several times but failed.

And as much as everyone thinks the EU is the promised land, look what they did to Greece, an EU member. Austerity 100 times worse than what the UK suffered under the coalition. Teachers, Policemen, Soldiers all sacked and pensions slashed by 60%. One hell of a price to pay for a bailout.

Would you wish to be part of that type of club ?

I accept all the comparisons made with Scotland (I so wish independence on them! ), Wales and NI and put my hand up to the points made but one thing that is indisputable is that none of them (including the English) are German which was my point. I appreciate the difficulty in finding a neutral tune for the whole of the UK but German and EU was not perhaps the most sensitive choice!
