Increasingly common problems it seems with market entry, twice this week they've had the wrong dates on particular sets of dogs markets, seen "1 PLACES" markets many times (yes 1 places!) and their naming conventions seemingly vary wildly sometimes depending on who is setting them up.

Oddly that market comes up on guardian as 4 TBP. You have to wonder what this market will be settled as. Either way, it's been fun hitting the underround. I complained about the dogs markets via their chat yesterday, the chap couldn't understand what I meant, and said someone from VIP team would call me.. which of course they didn't..

Why would BA have this as a 4tbp market ? The seemingly automated laying on this market is treating it as non 4tbp, does this mean they are not accessing it through the API ?

I have been looking at these markets Peter + Nero for a few weeks

Clearly, BF have noticed the popularity of Place markets, and have extended them to 1 extra place either side, so for a race where there would have been 3 places, usually has 2 additional markets - 2 TBP and 4 TBP

However, they are throwing up some ludicrous dutching opportunities. They do pay out Nero - yesterday I highlighted the 2.45 Sedgefield, which initially had 5 runners, so the place market had 2 winning selections. Two horses got withdrawn, and the place market remained 2 TBP with only 3 runners. The book was broke, and yes they paid out on dutching the market

I trade these a lot, they're great.

But this is a different situation LeTiss. Their rules state that unless the non runners mean the market is equal to or less than the extra place market, it will always stay the same - that's fine... but what's happened here is they have mislabeled it on the website as 2 Places, when through betangel it is 4 TBP.

So the question is, who and how is someone laying this in an automated way to around a 280-300% book (and they're probably thinking they're having a great morning too..) ?

Either it was a BF mistake, or somebody has had a bot that has messed up

Strangely on my chrome browser tab for the market it has it as 4 TBP.

7.30 Dundalk is 3 TBP

BF have added 2 additional markets - 2 TBP and 4 TBP

This market was 4 TBP with something totally amiss, as the book was 296% for much of the morning. It has now re-addressed itself, but either BF buggered up, or I suspect a bot had entered the wrong market

Either way, I advise people to have a butchers at these markets, they are throwing up these occasional mishaps

Something a little bit strange... How come i can place a bet on a reserve at dundalk through betangel but cant bet it through the Betfair site?? Just curious.
