betfair charts gone blank

i think Dallas was referring to which protocol is being used, rather than refresh rate. in settings->communications, you can select [Use Exchange Streaming] or not. this selection can be seen on the status bar (round about centre) of the main screen as either [Streaming] or [Polling].

I've gone into Bet Angel settings (clicking on the spanner), then communications, but from there only see 3 categories; Dynamic connection Tuner, Data refresh rates and connection Smoothing, not the options you gave @jimibt. I'm in bet angel trader so maybe that option is only in professional? Or perhaps I'm looking in the wrong place. The graph is showing different odds to what the odds really are though, I don't know how far behind the graph is, but it isn't 5 close to seconds (which is the setting I've chosen).

Yeah thats correct, judging by the responces I think all were using Polling. I doubt if it would/could make any difference so was just checking if there was a common denominator.

Its possible BF have tweeked something else there end and its only effecting a small handfull of users and all maybe slightly differently depending on there connection and how its routed.

The Betfair charts are just images downloaded from the Betfair servers, the only confirmed change by BF was the location they were hosted which the patched versions all now point to.

So, looks like I spoke too soon yesterday. After reinstalling, I thought it fixed the issue, but it didn't. At least as of yesterday, the issue was still there. I'm guessing it's an issue with Betfair, because I don't see how anything in Bet Angel could cause it to happen. I've also noticed that Betfair have changed the font on the charts, which to me indicates they've been screwing around with the charts in some way.

I'm using streaming, if that's any help.

Does anyone know if the time lag for the charts is here to stay? I think I'm about 30+secs behind (or at least I was yesterday), not sure if anyone's come across a fix yet?

Betfair has placed a limit on how many charts per hour you can access and enforces restrictions once you've reached your limit.

Still delayed, font has changed to a less readable one, and there's another change; you now see a number of 'flat line' sections where the same price has traded for some time.

they look to me as if i have the screen resolution set wrong - the resolution set too low.
