Precisely the same problem I have. I'm long-term (7 years +) profitable, and it's an easy set-and-forget strategy that I apply to all greyhound markets and let the selection conditions determine when to fire, however try as I might, any kind of scaling, even incremental just kills it dead. Very similar to above. Well, I've kept tabs on Derek and happy to report he's been lurking about over the last few days.
People making a living from this always have portfolio of strategies rather than just one or two.
