My Local computer is Windows7&64bit,Wherther you have the same problem?
One of the test PCs is configured with 64bit Windows 7, and we haven't seen that issue. Could you upload a screenshot. It may be that Windows DPI setting needs adjusting... the default is 96dpi.

From the screenshot it looks like Windows has been unable to load the correct font. Could you send a e-mail to [email protected] with screenshots of a number of Bet Angel screens (Ladder / One-click / Market Selection etc), hopefully if we can see a pattern to the font problem we can advise further.

Also it'd be useful if you can give examples of other windows applications such as Notepad.exe. See if you can use the font 'Microsoft Sans Serif' in Regular 8pt as that's the font Bet Angel uses.

peter has refunded my one months sub, as a fair man, i thought it only right to post this generous goodwill gesture that I of course accept.
Ive been critical, but think this is a praiseworthy gesture.
Thanks...

Hopefully i can get this all sorted

Here is the file we have been using all day on the racing. It doesn't do anything special just does an offset fill or kill bet and greens up just before the start. It's worked as expected all day. People may want to use this as a base rule to work from.

Due to timing issues it is possible for two bets to go into the market at similar times but there isn't much that can be done when using offsetting as it is a timing issue from when the data is received from Betfair. This is because as the offset bet arrives there may be milliseconds before the other condition checks for an unmatched bet and it doesn't see one and therefore puts a new position in the market. But it's an exception rather than a rule.

We will run them markets this afternoon and have a look. Were you forcing Bet Angel to switch to each new market or not? Did you have autoswitch enabled?

Mister man

In my opinion you are being disingenuous about getting caught out on your trades.

First of all I have tested BA software before it got released on Beta with my own money and lost hundreds of pounds doing so (pre practice mode days). You have practice mode so use it.

Second if you are getting caught out more than once on your trades then that’s your fault, not an unlucky story. Yesterday there was a football match in which one team scored and the second team scored in 15 seconds after the kick off that’s unlucky.

Good luck

Hi Bet Angel. Just tried to edit your file "Trading a horse race. baf" by adding a new rule to "export a P&L report" but when I click "add a new rule" button, it appears to "overwrite" existing "hedge profit rule" and seems to be trying to edit that rule rather than allowing a new rule to be added?

I suspect I'm doing something wrong, but I seem to be able to add new rules to files I have created but appear to have a problem with this one? Please advise

Best regards
Doug

Mr angel

No i didnt have the autoswitch enabled, to force gaurdian to switch...

But it just moves on to the next market at the designated pre off trading time anyway.

I'd be pleased to know what diference that makes, for future reference,if you could, as im in the dark on that

You probably want to shorten your fill or kill delay. You have a fill or kill for 30 seconds but the gap between the last order and green up is only 10 seconds. It's shouldn't cause a problem, but it may be good practice to amend it.

Were you switching to each market automatically using the 'Automatically switch Bet Angel market'. What was your Guardian refresh rate and how many markets did you have loaded?

Just seen this. It's not clear whether you have the autoswitch on or not? Also can you check under advanced settings and see if you have the 'restrict' refresh on?

Well, we have run it across 13 markets and not seen anything unusual. We are cycling at 1 second, don't have restrict refresh on and are auto switching every 280 seconds. Everything seems to be ok. Greening / redding out has worked on all 13 markets.
