Normal service resumed with Djokovic making sure he didn't slip up and putting away his opponent in straight-sets.

With the draw so thinned of top talent I wonder if it might be worth backing a couple of outsiders at decent odds.

Opps - some burnt fingers at 1.01 in this one. Kerber up a set and 5-1 in the second set tie-break true to form struggles to close it out - capitulates and loses the set then the match.

I see the papers are reporting Kerber has received death threats from unhappy punters

Came good in the end.

Personaly I am made up she's in the next round as she fast becoming the best player on the womens tour for trading - blitz's the first set then goes completly AWOL once in a winning position.

Thank you Laura Robson, three points from a straight sets defeat and turns it right around.

Danger for Murray today! He's up against Youzhny, a grass-court specialist. Murray has to concentrate, because this is the tournament of upsets, and Youzhny is well capable of putting him out.

I like the up-and-coming Australian Bernard Tomic as a big boilover prospect at odds of 130-1! With top talent thinned out, Tomic could spring a big upset in the tournament. He's improving all the time, and he's taken sets off Djokovic before. It's not totally out of the question that he could go all the way and win Wimbledon.

Handy Serena choke in the offing. v Lisiki was 1-2 down in first set and deuce.
