I'd guess they'll just apply a manual correction to my account as the market's already settled on Betfair.

I'll have to keep an eye on the account statement as they rarely do follow ups. I didn't even get the usual voided bet emails when they voided KEEP SP bets a few days ago.
Hi ##########

Thanks for getting in touch.

The bets were indeed set to take BSP persistence, unfortunately due to a technical issue the 15:20 did not suspend at the off and the BSP never reconciled. We are in the process of correcting the market.

Let me know if there’s anything else I can help with. Or maybe our FAQs will come in handy?

We love to tweet too; find us @BetfairHelpdesk.

Thanks,

They haven't done any manual adjustments yet and I got a cryptic response to asking why my Keep bets on the 3:20 Brighton on Thursday weren't credited into the BSP pool.
Hi ####

Thanks for getting in touch.

The manual reconciliation of BSP and some additional clean-up on this and Redcar

Thanks for the reply , it doesn’t explain why my bets were not subsequently placed into the BSP pool.
I'll keep you updated if any manual adjustments are done.

Good to see they're finally doing the right thing, just a pity they need to be pestered to do it.

I've had similar problems as far back as 2009 with the cancelling of KEEP SP bets where they've had problems with markets not going in running. They told me this as far back as 2009. Sadly nothing seems to have changed as they just want to settle markets asap and deal with any queries if and when they come in with each customer servs rep having their own take on the matter.
Should we have to manually reconcile the BSP in the future, we may have to make account adjustments to reflect ‘Take SP’ exchange bets, pending an automated solution. However we are working to ensure that such bets will be automatically picked up in any manual BSP reconciliation process.

We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused and for the length of time this has taken to resolve.

I've asked Betfair to directly comment on how it could happen three times in the last week. I'll let you know if I get palmed off, sorry, a response from them.

Quite frankly, they only care about the Sportsbook. I knew this would happen when they hired that king canute from Paddy Power, they made their intentions clear then.

Whenever there's an outage, they seem delighted to inform everyone the Sportsbook is up & running before the Exchange.....depressing isn't the word

The exchange is probably kept in some dank basement on an old school plug adaptor and goes down everytime someone boils a kettle

I've been following the discussions on the BF forum (http://community.betfair.com/) - very entertaining reading. There are some angry traders out there.
BTW - there are a larger number of missing jockey silks in the one-click screen today.
