I've over egged 2 races so far and ended up back at scratch, not seeing the type of moves from yesterday and monday but all have been very tradeable

If Oliver123 could tell me why he backed Wall Of Fire at 1.01 that'd be nice
I think a quick screenshot will put us all at ease ;)

Man you guys are brutal! Perhaps I'm missing the whole picture but what harm has the guy actually done aside from making a few posts that made some of us uncomfortable for him?

If you think me & naff are brutal, you should read some of Halliday's posts! Ours are very neutral in comparison

Better liquidity, bigger fields, easier to read markets.

BA makes collecting this data fairly easy and you'll find much more interesting stuff in it than you're asking for.
I write my own bots to collect data in a lot more detail than BA is capable, so I don't need any of the stuff I was suggesting.
Sorry polkius but I was responding to your original message that said:
"Maybe it would be more interesting data if you fixed entry times and made daily, weekly, monthly summaries of ticks moved up or down, some kind of structure. "

If you can already do this better than BA can, and you don't need any of it, why ask for it? I know you said you wanted to make things less misleading for beginners but the figures Euler posted didn't even add up to a profit so it wasn't exactly showboating. Besides there's aready a ton of stuff on the forum for beginners, the occasional quick esoteric posting from Euler is greatly appreciated from this end.

The question I'm asking myself now is, if this doesn't affect me, why the hell have I just wasted 5 mins of my life getting involved. I think it's one of the unfortunate side effects of being just as much of a grumpy nerd as you are. ;) OK...back to the grindstone.

I've had an absolute stinker today. Let one go in play. First time i have ever done this and i'm really angry with myself. I've never had the impulse to do this before (even after a poor trade). Even if it had worked in my favour i know its something I shouldn't have done. I've been doing ok in April and things were very slowly starting to look up. It's the worst day I've had since i started in January. I've been very poor on other markets too. Stupid mistakes, sat there fixated with the numbers on one ladder instead of looking at the bigger picture, chasing losses. Not reading the markets like i have been doing. 1 step forwards 2 steps back.

Sorry lads. Needed a rant.

Dont be too hard on yourself. A few months in the markets is really no time at all.

Mistakes are all part of the learning process, how you deal with those mentally will have a big say in how you progress over the coming months and years

All the best going forward
