Greened-up at Ascot before off time, ten minutes late now, not sure what's going on.

Having a good all round session, so far. Hopefully the back end of the card is its usual good period.

Several of the bigger tracks do seem to be trading differently to when they had crowds on course. Will be a long while until we get back to those days!

An amusing Wikipedia entry - "Nobody really seems to know the source and meaning of the word Coonabarabran. It may derive from a person's name or from the Kamilaroi language word 'gunbaraaybaa' meaning 'excrement', translated earlier as meaning, 'peculiar odour', this possibly is a bowdlerisation. Another meaning is derived from an Aboriginal word for 'inquisitive person'. 'Coolabarabran' was the name of a station owned by James Weston in 1848."

You can really tell how much of a delay there is from the off on course to the suspension on Betfair. Quite a jump in BSP when there is a slow starter.

Been the case the whole time.

It is more to do with the analogue radio than oncourse people though I believe.

Sugar Boom in R7 at Doomben was a good example of a horse breaking well and the fast feed people backing it in the pre off market inplay.

Yeah that's why I would never leave a lay bet to get matched at SP or leave it in the queue as this happens so often

Wish I could say the same. Kembla's been good for me today but disappointing for a Saturday morning.

Took me a while to learn this lesson and still sometimes I forget but it really isn't worth the risk as you can get a hugely different price than you hoped for. I have seen some real stinkers.
