Apologies! Can someone write or improve automation rules for a small remuneration?

Thanks (once again!) for that Dallas, but it says it cannot be opened as it was written within a different version of BetAngel?
Dallas probably wrote it using v1.51.2.

I think as BetScalper mentioned, you really would put yourself in the driving seat if you managed to get your head around the building blocks of the automation.

I know only too well that things that worked perfectly for 6-8 months can (and will) start to show signs of age (i.e. they'll start to produce less profit). Unless you are willing/able to again go back to your original rules author you will find yourself in a frustrating situation.

As i mentioned on another thread, if it exists in your head, you can translate it to paper (flow charts, dependencies etc) and from that, you'll have a far easier job conceptulising how the various elements interact. More importantly, you'll know that you have the total IP on the idea and can be confident that your rule is not out there eroding your edge thro multiple use.

just my thoughts...

Thanks, I know what you mean...however, although the automation is important, the key part of the success is the choosing of the horses, it doesn't rely on the favourite, 2nd favourite, etc. Each horse is picked by many other filters, criteria etc. So someone having this automation rule without the horses, is like someone having the finest gun in the world, if they haven't got the appropriate ammunition, they aren't going to be hitting any targets.

I fully intend on understanding BetAngel automation, however for the time being, I want a successful rule. In the months ahead I will then be able to come to terms with how it is put together etc. At the moment, I have so many things going on, I want to be able to map ahead...rather than getting bogged down in things I am not adept at. That will happen eventually.

I hear what you're saying and I certainly wouldn't want to have to learn about horses. But what people are saying is that it's a racing certainty that your automation won't be profitable out of the box, it might be due to your selections, it might be something about the automation rules. You'll need to be able to find out. It's also the case that even simple automation often needs rules to be tweaked especially anything that greens up which is notoriously tricky.

I hope Dallas's file does the job. The best way to learn is by altering something that already works so I'm sure it'll all be demystified soon.

When I see an automation rule, that I have tweaked, that doesn't green up a selection, I know it's because I have messed something up! I know it's nothing to do with the horse!

I put in an awful lot of work choosing these horses, I need a good automation rule that can put my selection procedure into action, I simply do not have the experience at the moment to write or tweak (not twerk) with any amount of confidence.
