RM the epitome of winning ugly this campaign. But that said, they beat a load of great teams on the way here. None of them seemed to counter what they knew they would do.

Drew Benfica and Villarreal. Watched City get beaten up in Madrid by Simeone and Ancelotti. This seems like a seminal moment for Klopp and Liverpool and this team. Not to take this trophy tonight its a timeform squiggle for me Clive. Can they go again?

Well done Real. Not much in it really, but LFC were pretty good. Real just edged it. But an enjoyable game, I think. Crap outcome, but hey there's always next year.

didn’t watch the game but just watched the highlights, what the bobbins Terence Trent D'Arby or whatever his name is, was doing giving that much space away to Vinicius Junior is mind boggling, totally lost his bearings
