....and a mere 11 goals from two games tonight - and plenty of opportunities.
Today's Football
I'm sort of getting tired of big teams getting daft decisions, surely time for video referrals in football. It's just getting stupid the way teams are trying to buy results through forcing dodgy decisions or not being given valid decisions.

I'll never forget how Chelsea were completely and utterly robbed by Barcelona - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NYz3WUaPRoQ

Many talk of Barcelona as the greatest team in the world, but I don't think anyone would have predicted the current team to win that game 6-1. As far as decisions go, football has always been the same, you're much more likely to get the rub of the green if you're one of the biggest clubs in the world with a 100,000 fans shouting for every decision. Personally, I think video replays for judgement based decisions would be a slippery slope for football. It would detract from some of things that make football exciting. Take the Chelsea v Barca game that is mentioned for instance, nearly all of the disputed decisions are contentious. Perhaps Chelsea should have had a penalty, but Barca probably shouldn't have had a man sent off. And of course, there's a big difference between seeing something live on the pitch and watching a slow motion video replay. Lines will start to become that bit more blurred, and the judgement and interpretation by the referee will become redundant. Ultimately the quest to get every single decision right, would spoil the flow, spontaneity and excitement.

Just had a thought... Does anyone think that Claude Puel (Saints manager) could be the new Arsenal manager come August?

I suspect it's just the tip of a very large data iceberg.MemphisFlash wrote: ↑Mon Mar 13, 2017 8:04 pmwould it be possible to publish that sheet in the forum for all of us to use Peter. thanks if you do. Tom
Red Card = higher chance of goals, no? Why has it almost been disregarded in the Chels / Man Und game, 15 mins after it occurred?
I am seeing that over 1.5 goals is available at 2.5 at HT, my data says that it should be around that but I would expect a much lower price than my (basic) model.
