Ascot turnover today was £15.6m up from £12.5m last year. But of course, we have an extra race today. The smallest race was £1.1m at post time versus £3.4m for the biggest. Volatility was slightly up on last year.

The stand out statistic from today was that InPlay volume was just 7.68% of total volume. Nearly 93% of the money was matched pre-off. Never seen such a low percentage as a total of matched bet turnover. My bot did miss one race by error, but it was consistent across the card.
When you have time Peter could you give an idea of how you measure volatility.

Thought I'd have time for a full English but didn't account for the mandatory after breakfast coffee and cigarette.

In contrast, Gowran park is exciting, in fact, fairly nutty.

Most likely it`s gonna be result of the day for me, but on the other hand when Irish races are not exciting?

And of course it won, sometimes you just want to get along with those gambles

A strange day so far, I can't get filled on a lot of stuff so just dumping the orders to stay safe.
