The fat fingers thread
Apologies for breathing life into this old thread, but I've just noticed there's been no additions since Christmas.
Just a thought, but does anyone think XM has stopped the price dropping alarmingly like before. If there has been a drastic mistake by someone, or by a bot, the money gets matched across the board now and we don't see the previous examples anymore?

@LeTiss
i would have thought so, assuming there is enough liquidity in the market, but i'm not sure exactly how xm works (i get the theory but i suspect the way it's implemented is not quite as simple).

There have been other cases, I think from memory the last one I saw was last week. I guess people just haven't been posting them.
Also XM was around when probably most of the previous posts/images were posted up. Can't remember off the top of my head the date XM came in but it has been quite a while now.

I think Pre race XM started in the March 2010 (?) and then XM was tested in play on the 23rd Nov 2011 (I remember because i filled my boots that day as did many others!)...then it was switched on full I think from the 24th/26th Nov?andyfuller wrote:

Just had it in the background so couldn't be bothered to get the screen grabs as I am not trading it but the 18.00 market had a good fat finger on it.
