I understand the connections said this was their best hope of a winner at Royal Ascot. Michael Owen actually bred this horse and still has a lot of the family still at his stud.

There was early money but that seems to have dried up a bit. It's a tricky race so good luck if you play.

Finished on a high, managed my best race on both exchanges on the very last race.

'The Bryce is right' helped me catch a nice trade there by talking up the amount the fav was sweating up. Will have to buy her a drink next time I see her :!:

Cant believe my own stupidity there, accidentally backed a horse for 1k with take SP and didnt realise... had to scramble out in play for a 250 loss  I could do with a break. Nexy year hopefully I'll be smart enough to do it BEFORE Ascot rather than after

After I had a record day yesterday, came down to earth with a bump today, halved yesterday's Ascot profits, but managed an average day on the other meetings.

I'm down on Ascot for today. :(

Disappointed tbh, especially after looking forward to it for so long.

I just can't seem to get many decisions right at the moment and pleased I never doubled my stakes.

Nightmare hgodden, similar to what I did apart from it was £800 stake with a £350 loss and I didn't take SP, I just traded far too close to the off! What a stupid mistake.

I'm actually £250 down for the day, oh well, couple of days left to make some profit.

I'm beginning to realise trading will never make me a wealthy man :)

Very heavy rain here again this morning so I fear we are in for another tricky day at Ascot. Real shame.

Delay at Muss, not an ideal start.

Toughest day so far today. Just took a loss :o on the feature race on Betfair. But made a decent profit on Betdaq.

Finding today quite frustrating. Had a few decent losses which have been annoying but got some decent wins so overall so far is just going average but annoyed to have had losses.

Long way to go though....

Me and you both Andy, I am finding it very frustrating! I get myself into a decent profitable position and my closing order is part matched only for someone to offload a wad that causes the price to run away. You do the right thing and get out only for it to turn around and come back your way. The next race you hold in near identical circumstances and it just runs further away from you..............................................................................and then it comes back

The fill rate on Betdaq is miles better than Betfair today. Struggled on Betfair again on the 16:25 but waltzed it on Betdaq for a result three times my Betfair total.

Ascot seems impossible for me today.

When I can afford to I will move some money over to Betdaq and give it a go.
