The odds says it all but, I would not give the home win victory 1.5 yet. Olympiakos sometimes can be a pain in the bbbbbbb. I will take an insurance on the Draw and wait the odds to go higher perhaps 1,7-1.8 for the HW.
Full house...Shalke 1-0 up...

So, was anyone else getting the 9' delay?

Sorry CaerM,
I was just too concetrate on watching every games and writing my results, that I missed your question..I have being selfish, I apologise..
What do you mean with 9' delay..
The betting? the video?
I did not notice anything unusual on my rent..Even if there was something unusual, I had too many games to follow so I may have missed it...
Porto was the only game I did not trade in play...just pre-off...

I've had a number of reports coming in to say the delay has increased. Most have been saying 8 seconds, but I've had a few 9 seconds as well.

I'd say the betting delay on this event was around 10' in fact, but you could see clearly 9' in the countdown timer. You probably know better, but when you see 9', it must be 9' plus something?

It's much harder to trade with an increased delay, so it was somewhat frustrating...

It's not only you who felt that frustration, we all know that delays are somehow happening, but I hope it's not going to happen again.

I had confirmation a couple of weeks ago from BF that ALL games were now 8 seconds delay....

However, the Leeds v Milwall games at the weekend was 5 seconds delay for in play trades...

Must say i didn't notice the 9 seconds but will keep an eye out for it...

There were a few games last night with a 0 sec delay

But only because betfair forgot to put them in play for the first 20 mins or so .

I have a big bet on Chelsea not to qualify...I personally think is a very good value..
As for the draw Shaktar vs Juventus, it started low anyway..I don't know if it's happened before to be honest, what I know that all gamblers I know are backing the draw, on internet or bookies shops...
I think the odds will drift slightly on wednesday, but be very caution if the odds goes below 1.9..

Giulio -

Realistically, Chelsea will beat Nordsjaelland. If that happens, and if Juventus slip up against Shakhtar Donetsk (who are 3.75 to back for the win), then Chelsea are through.

So I'd say the odds on Chelsea qualifying are about right.

Ferru you are too clever for me...How did you come out with that?
I layed Chelsea at 3.25 and at 3.6 when the MO Shaktar vs Juventus were still not available as for a good value bet..It was an indication what the HW odds would be around..Now that Shaktar vs Juventus MO are available, I am still thinking that 3.75 to lay the qualify for Chelsea or to lay Shaktar HW as you prefer, are still a cracking value...
As far as I know about football, Juventus should be the favorite on 2morrow night game, it does not mean Juventus can't lose but In my opinion shaktar and Chelsea should be paid around 4.5...I am not saying this because it's an Italian team but realisticly Juventus is really hard to beat and shaktar is already qualified..
P.S. Perhaps we have a different opinion on what GOOD VALUE BET means...
P.S.2 Please don't wish chelsea to qualify so you can say you were right... :D :D
P.s.3 this is what I wrote the 21st november when the odds started to go up...

The bookmakers also thinks that whoever take over will make chelsea to qualify...Perhaps they forget that Shaktar is already qualified and even if they beat Nordsj 10-0 won't be enough... :D :D
A miracle worth 10/1 not 3.3 ..
What a cracking value to lay chelsea...

See http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/cha ... ague/table.

Chelsea could theoretically get through on goal difference if they thump Shakhtar Donetsk 7-0 and Juventus draw. However, more realistically they need Juventus to lose and for them (Chelsea) to beat Nordsjaelland.

It will be interesting to see if Juventus try to kill the game off by playing very defensive football tomorrow (although as the England national team has shown time and again, that can be a very risky strategy!).
