Today's Horse Racing
Too looks to have lots of potential in it, but it's going to be a bit hairy at times. Some much racing packed into one afternoon is bound to cause problems at certain points. If it lines up then money to be made, but if not it could get a bit frustrating.
I think the P&L's you post are inspirational, along with the general blog. It's a constant reminder that it's very possible to crack this trading business! Anybody who claims you are showing off is probably jealous.Euler wrote:BTW, Thanks for the comments guys, it's much appreciated. I'll flesh out some of the stats at some point for you to chew over as well.

and again hex 3.55 6 mins before the off,its not safe for me with a small bank to be in these markts .think ill head over to brazil and chins goal marlets.
Why don't you work with smaller stakes? There's a lot of money to be made from the big orders, not just a lot to be lost I reckon. My bank is quite small today on account of a whopping arb that won at Betfred yesterday. And suddenly it's two day Moneybookers payouts, and not overnight

Just trade in front of it scalping with a back first before lay? If your using smallish stakes if someone does spoof it and turn around the market quick just get out quickly. You may get quite a few trades in and if he drops it down whilst you only have your back filled it can be positive? That's what I'm doing anyway and it's done okay for me the last two days.convoysur-2 wrote:and again hex 3.55 6 mins before the off,its not safe for me with a small bank to be in these markts .think ill head over to brazil and chins goal marlets.
This guy seems fond of going with the long-term trend, so as long as you do likewise you're on fairly safe ground IMHO, and you can just sit back and fill your boots!

Be careful, and avoid getting in the way.
Here's an example from the 4:00 Mdn Stks at Kemp.
Notice the early money that pushed it down.
Despite the fact that races are 15 mins apart today, the trends still kick off too early instead of gradually commin' in as I expected.
