Betfair API Down

Betfair.it stated yesterday that .com and .it are two separate website so issues that occur on .com should not occur on .it
Last night both websites were down at the same time. I hear lot's of users that lost quite a bit of money because the football was suspended for a long period on the busiest time of football games.
Some of the users tryed to contact the live chat.
The response was that betfair.it lost images of the football games and people were advised by the customer support to use the sportbook.

the above is from my ba log. never had this error description before.
has anyone had this before, and do they know the reason or cause?
ba froze for approx 10 secs or so and i assumed betfair had gone down/glitched, but the log stated the above whatever that means, and my machine and broadband appear to be ok?
the race was the redcar 15:20.
ba came up about 10 secs later and all seems fine.
any ideas? thanks

I lost 80% of the profit i built up flicking screens to get betdaq up when i looked back all the prices on all the runners i had profits on had craashed back in as people obvioustly scrambled to get out ASAPEuler wrote:I was in a right panic for a second there in the 19:10, was very heavy on the market when it froze, twice.
