There is some amazing back to lay opportunity's on the first day at York. Some real clear front runners with slow pace races.

errrr 'science' has at least 3 very plausable explainations for it's existance, the capture therory, the giant impact hypothesis and the co-formation theory.SeaHorseRacing wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2017 11:41 pm...the moon. It controls our oceans our gravity. Science still cannot explain how or why it is there.
I'm not knocking your theories SHR but you do need to remember that correlation does not imply causation. It's the most important consideration most people choose to ignore in statistics. Like in those studies that say something like 'eating greens makes you live longer' when it's actually just that the type of people who eat greens also tend to do other things, and it's those things that actually make them live longer.
Could it be that because this is moon theory is thought to be true, horses born at that time are treated differently in some way, even very slightly? That would mean that although your theory has some relevance, it's not the moon that's causing these horses to be born with special abilities. You say yourself that Khalid Abdullah and Coolmoore breed their horses based on the moon phase, so folklore becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.
Also remember that the moon has exactly the same gravitational pull on your horses all month round, it's just pulling from a different direction. The actual change in local gravity caused by the phases of the moon has been calculated as being less than the gravitational effect of a person sitting next to you.
As for astrology then that's long been proven that due to precession on an interstellar scale, nobody is actually the star sign they think they are. Co-incidentally and why I mention it, precession was one of the things Leonhard Euler famously discovered formulas for.

If starsigns don't mean anything, then how come EVERY single person born has one?? explain that....
p.s. the moon is made of cheese

When I receive a response like this how can I ever get irritated or complain.ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Wed May 17, 2017 2:54 amerrrr 'science' has at least 3 very plausable explainations for it's existance, the capture therory, the giant impact hypothesis and the co-formation theory.SeaHorseRacing wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2017 11:41 pm...the moon. I do have a piece of information and the horse is being ridden by one most corrupt Jockeys in the businesses.
If you do a BHA search for stewards enquiry on GIANT spark in the 2.55 York. You will notice that every time Paul Mulrenan has ridden this horse he has been involved in a stewards enquiry...
However after receiving a nice text this morning about this runner, I always check over form and BHA and it appears hes been doing the leg work in bringing down a handicap mark and has been rewarded with the ride today.
Giant Spark was 13/2 for a listed race at Cork on its first return this year. Something happened to his leg during the running and is an excuse for not riding a good race.
This is a horse who was once rate in the 50's and was ridden by Paul Mulrenan many times... the day he gets off the horse goes onto to win. 6 races later the horse is rated 95!!
This horse has the perfect profile of a galloping horse and has been ironically ridden on sharp turning tracks recently. IMO this is a perfect galloping horse with speed running at the best galloping tracking in the world that couldnt be anymore suited!
Still very lightly raced and wants bottomless ground. The information is good and everything about this runner tells me they have done it before and there doing it to day. Everything matches perfectly.
Giant Spark- Currently 20/1
