Betfair market ops errors
It went inplay, but something happened at around the 2 furlong mark where prices weren't changing, i was laying a horse all the way down the straight at 7.0 as it went back thru the field. The race then didn't suspend for about 10 minutes. It still hasn't been settled 25 minutes later.

If bets were voided it wasn't done properly or some people were up to some mischief!
the settled SP total market percentage was 84%.
Some people (like me) who lay a few SP were crucified on the odds!!

Not an error as such, because they always do it, but does anyone know why BF turn the IPL markets in-play at 3:00pm on the dot irrespective of whether the game has started?
We haven't even had the toss this afternoon and the market is in-play.

They are clueless and just following market rules.
The postponed game in the PSL is more interesting. Betfaircs on X not replying as to whether bets will be voided or moved to the new date.

I hadn't even noticed the PSL game. The way I read the rules, if the match is rescheduled within the next five days then all bets will be honoured.
I can understand why BF would want to set smaller volume cricket markets to go in-play automatically. However, with IPL games likely to match £100 million-plus, surely you'd have someone setting the market in-play manually. It's in BF's interest to see the largest amount of money possible go through the market. More will be matched if people aren't waiting five seconds for every bet to reach the exchange.

They’ve voided the market, I’m afraid. I’ve wasted my afternoon.
Crikey, didn't reckon they'd chuck out the IPL floodlight stuff-up, eh?
Yeah, the ol' pill bounced me way. Lucky break, that was.
Reckon one good reason they go hard on the in-play for the big matches is probably to stop those courtsiders chuckin' their bets on the coin toss, eh?
Smart buggers.
