I've heard Sunak kept using the C-word in PMQs.
Can you explain? I watched it and don't know what you are referring to. Which C-word? Conservative? Corbyn?

Compassion.

Like Sunak, I have tough decisions to make today. Burger King whopper or McDonald's quarterpounder. :)

Sunak doesn't have time for the COP summit but he's got time to visit a hospital! No doubt we'll see him visiting schools, factories and building sites in his hard hat and high-visibility jacket.

Sunak's first U-turn, no fines for people who don't attend their GP appointment. I'd forgotten all about that one.

First lesson in being a PM Richi, learn from your predecessors and don't get into an argument with an old woman. You cannot possibly win.

In the 37 years from 1979 to 2016 there were 5 prime ministers of the UK
In the 6 years since 2016 we’ve also had 5 PMs

Every time a major government failure comes to light, they have a review and then do bugger all about it. It's just as well us traders don't do that when we find a leak in our profits!

Susie Boniface: Suella Braverman could be the shortest serving home secretary since Suella Braverman. :D

Not sure what's in the paper but I like the headline. :D

If the stories are true that Truss's phone has been hacked by the Gremlin, we can safely say they have full access to the Home Office's data, perhaps better access than the Home Office itself.

Or perhaps Truss was as incompetent with security as she was with the economy.

If Truss broke security protocol which allowed her phone to be hacked then that’s a prosecutable offence by law. Be interesting to see where the CPS stands on that.

Starmer should know. :)

I've heard Boris the Buffoon might be turning up to COP to undermind Sunak. I don't understand how Downing Street can stop the King from going but Sunak can't stop a backbench Tory MP from going or withdraw the whip. Sunak needs to stop the buffoon in his tracks and get him out of the party, before he tries to get his job back. And this is how he should do it. :D

If the rumours are true then there are about 76 Tory MP’s loyal to Boris. That’s enough to bring the party down when decide too at any point when a government needs to get something through parliament. Sunak will know that, so to some extent he is fcuked if he tries to tell Boris what he should or should not be doing.

Basically, it’s a right fcuk up because of the splits in the Tory party.

Sunak is the right person to fix the economy but he may not get the chance too. If he has to call a general election then the economy could be damaged for good and far worse than Truss managed too. It would take Labour 2 terms at least to rectify and be extremely unpopular with voters as we would be back to the 1970s/1980s from an economic point of view.

Sunak has to keep Boris onside weather he/we or the country likes it.

Utter madness, we need PR asap so something like the last 6 months or 12 years (depending on your point of view) can never happen again.

As a Tory member/voter, never thought I would be ever saying that!!!

Sunak had two sensible options. Either get elected without deals and take full control of the party or don't get elected, let the buffoon or someone else get elected and allow the party to self-destruct. A PM under the command of his cabinet isn't any better.
