Everton's defence looks so flaky even Núñez might score in a minute.

Nunez is beginning to remind me of Salah at Chelsea. Or De Bruyne at Chelsea. Why did neither succeed there but then became possibly the best in their position in the world.jamesedwards wrote: ↑Mon Feb 13, 2023 9:27 pmOr maybe not...jamesedwards wrote: ↑Mon Feb 13, 2023 9:23 pmEverton's defence looks so flaky even Núñez might score in a minute.
I've often mused with footy friends how great it would be to be allowed 100% access to the workings of your club.

I think confidence is such a big thing. A bad start and things can spiral very quickly, then starting over at a new club wipes the slate clean and you go again. If Núñez hadn't got sent off v Palace and Haaland had missed that opening penalty at West Ham, roles could easily have been reversed.greenmark wrote: ↑Mon Feb 13, 2023 9:37 pmNunez is beginning to remind me of Salah at Chelsea. I never bought into that "confidence" thing, but perhaps it is a "thing". When I played (at very amateur level) confidence did play a part, but it was fleeting because next week someone would up-end you and you're knackered for a few weeks. No amount of confidence overcomes a crunched ankle.jamesedwards wrote: ↑Mon Feb 13, 2023 9:47 pmI think confidence is such a big thing. PSG v Bayern hopefully be lively tonight and I've picked the right game.
Normally you'd expect a cagey start to a 1st leg last 16 quarter final game of the CL but not sure if either teams knows anything else other than goals.

Barca v Man U started with a 15 second bet delay now down to 7
I've noticed that a few times, it sometimes changes mid-match.Michael5482 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 16, 2023 5:18 pmBarca v Man U started with a 15 second bet delay now down to 7
