Stirling has been bottom of the BBC Viewer player ratings in every match except against Belguim - when he didn't play

Against;
Tunisia - 4.10
Panama - 5.30
Belguim - DNP
Columbia - 4.56
Sweden - 5.23
he’ll be MOM in the semi then.. probably score a hat trick

Maybe I was watching a different game but I thought Raheem was good to do. I know he didn’t finish but eventually he will get one in this tournament with the runs he makes.

Yeah he was much better than Alli, but I suppose once you score you go up about 3 pts

just imagine if England do win the tournament, what a lift it would give the whole country, it’ll be something that many of us haven’t ever seen in our life time & may never ever see again, really wished I’d lumped on now at the start of the tournament..

Sort of think I'd prefer Croatia in the semi's rather than the hostility of a partisan Russian crowd?

Wonder how injured this Croat goalie is

Edit: He's done a few good saves since the injury so looks fine

means nothing, Germany 7-1 Brazil, (WC ‘14) England 1-1 Germany (Euro ‘96)

I’d take either side now it’s gone to pens

I think Croatia will come on top in the pens

I honestly don’t know who England would prefer. After Croatia’s last two performances... I could see England dominating over Croatia. On their day Russia might push us to penalties. Sat right on the fence.

The Croatians look as if they'll need a week to recover

Modric was so far above anyone else on that pitch today

Problem is they don't have a goalscorer, there's a reason Juve have pushed Mandzukic out to the wing

I think the crowd will play a large part and even England fans will not drown out the hosts playing for a place in the final I'd, therefore, prefer Croatia

I don’t fear Croatia at all, of all the teams England could have faced in the SF I’m sure Gareth Southgate would have been delighted at this chance had he’d know at the start of the tournament
