I guess United is his best bet for trophies. Speculation about Real Madrid is a bit of a stretch. As Bale discovered Spain is even more demanding about footballers performancees than us.Michael5482 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 28, 2023 3:44 pmFew teams will have there tails up now Newcastle and Liverpool in particular looking for that 4th spot. Yes strange when a manager goes normally his staff go with him.greenmark wrote: ↑Mon Mar 27, 2023 4:06 pmLooks like self-sabbotage. They're in 4th and needed continuity, not uncertainty. Conte's deputy is now in charge to the end of the season.Michael5482 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 27, 2023 2:19 pmNot sure how I didn't see this earlier. Conte gone, to be expected after last weeks press conference. Spurs are always the bridesmaid and never quite made it to the altar themselves., wonder if it's the last we see of Kane in a Spurs shirt.

How can this possibly work out well? With games in hand playing out to the advantage of their peers, Spurs could be 6th.
Stellini is unlikely to get the job after this season so the players aren't going to respect him and he's Conte's chosen deputy.
And yes. The Kane issue can't be ignored. Wonder where he would go if he left Spurs. He'd want big money so the options are narrowed by that and some of his preferred clubs may not have a place for him. I mean Haaland or Kane? Salah or Kane? And although transfers between Arsenal and Spurs have occurred would he want that kind of hostility?
Abroad maybe? He's a Spurs fan since a kid so his heart may tell him to stop or he may think I've only got few years left of my career and I want the chance of a couple of decent trophy's.
But I agree his window of opportunity is narrowing and if he's still represented by his brother it may not end well.
