So who are you more gutted for?
For me Saints. They took the league leaders to their limits and that point will be worthless.
The way Saints unravelled Arsenal makes you wonder whether confidence (or desperation) really is a strong motivator.
Can Saints exploit that performance and grab a few wins to survive? To me they showed they shouldn't be where they are.
But it's points on the board that matter.
As Arsenal may discover on Wednesday. But I won't as I don't have BT sport.

Arsenal were terrible at the back. Playing Man City could end up being a cricket score.

As an Arsenal fan I have to agree, we really miss Saliba at the back, Holding is just not cutting it, Ramsdale making a blunder so early on and as for Zinchenko although he's great most of the time he keeps giving the damn ball away and he wasn't marking up for Southampton's 3rd goal.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 21, 2023 10:50 pmArsenal were terrible at the back. As for attack...... Jesus not putting away those chances didn't help, not enough shots on target to test the young Southampton goalkeeper.
If you asked me at the start of the season would you take finishing the league in 2nd place I would of snapped your hand off, even just getting top 4 again was the target so not winning the league with this young group of players is not the end of the world but expectations will be higher now next season.
Southampton was always going to cause issues in these last few match's now it's a relegation battle for them, I hope they do well and stay up!
