I dont think anyone lost anything. The market makers made a quick call!

It would be good if someone could give an explanation as to why there is still 21K on offer after the finish of the race and the horse has already won? Is there something in bf terms that would mean if you backed it and it was voided you lose half your stake or something and the layer gets the benefit of the doubt? No one offers 20K on a horse that has already won without some guarentee?

Sporting options were a fine example of "favours". The guy that run them had a big debt and his old buddy in the city who started bf bailed him out by crediting the accounts. Sorting promotions should never been allowed back near BF but still is a major player and doesnt pay PC.

Hi I've a quick question about volume before the off? What is the average amount of cash usually bet when you get to 5 mins before the off during a normal handicap maiden etc. I know it can vary with the quality and day of week but I noticed the Irish racing today had about 25k 5 mins before off. Is this normal for this kind of fodder? I always get cleaned out by these types. Cheers

Yes it's pretty normal for a maiden at bellewstown :) .Its one of the worst courses as far as trading volume goes tbh.I lost alot earlier  . You get alot more manipulation on those weaker courses,as its so easy for people to push the price up and down.

Not the greatest. I'm doing far more watching than clicking. Just trying to end August without any drama. End of August eh? That came quick.

I had a conference call with them today and I raised it as an issue. It's re-appeared again now.
