Both games tbh Aussie football is a hard watch IMO, plenty of goals but standard is poor especially defensively.

With the winter World Cup they condensed everything towards the end of the season slightly but TV still need to fulfil x amount of live televised games as per there agreed packages with the PL so basically TV and money is the reason.

I guessed as much on the TV\Money front

A sad state of affairs really that TV dictate when games are to be played with no consideration for fans (great for me along with others watching and trading PL games every night of the week mind).

Just shows you where the game is, PL football is a great product but it's prostituted itself to money and lost sight of what football is really about and that's the fans.
