WI v PAK 3rd test starts tomorrow. The weather forecast not looking great at the moment and we could possibly lose some play over the first 2 days.

I had a small back on the draw yesterday (3.75) and will look at the position again tomorrow.

Anyone else have any initial thoughts?

Think liquidity on UK games will be down this yr .. ALL betting at ICC games are strictly (and enforceably forbidden).

Data callers will have a v hard time, affecting liquidity.

Yes, weather unpredictable and a patchy few days forecasted. Traded out at 2.5 a little while ago. Price getting into speculative laying territory now.

I have watched bang play maybe 5 times, over the last mth, and the overall flavour I get, is that they are a v disciplined, and well supported team.

They bowl v well, can drop some catches, and have a few good batters .. who, might score 275. Its hard to see that being enough, but ..

In the warm-up, India were 1.30 pre-toss v Bang, and went to 1.35 when Bang decided to bowl. When India were 3 down, they touched 1.69.

As a trader, I have to lay the 1.20.

I fully expect England to turn up and win tomorrow but Bang are a capable side and generally on the up and can cause damage with bat and ball.

Eng should be at full strength but any negative injury news, loss of the toss and a strong Bang start could make things interesting. Eng a value L2B price.

Bang score 305 .. touched 1.38 in the innngs.

Eng unlucky to lose bowler (Woakes).

Eng 1.27 at break.

Pretty much as expected, Eng won cozily .. just a bit too good.
Eng touched 1.39 or so, .. so traders made a few ticks.

Morgan is developing as a Captain .. and the Oval pitch,
Is full of runs.

Aus v NZ tomorrow .. Aus 1.53, and I suspect mkt will favour
Aus, for long periods. I wouldn't make Aus so short , but, will wait, before opening a position.

S.africa look too big, at 1.29 today.

They have depth, and a will to win.

Edgbaston a little unlucky with the weather as well. Was working only 4-5 miles away and only had a 15 min shower/drizzle. Built a good position in the match but managed a little saver on the completed match market.

Weather looks good for today and South Africa should be too good as well with the 5-0 drubbing they gave out earlier in the year still fresh in the memory.

SL v SA - Greened up at innings break. We could have a game here, will wait a and see if opportunity presents itself.

Game 4 .. India v Pak .. impossible to get a tkt .. India 1.49 .. CMM 1.16 .. at the weather trap, that is edgbaston.

India were a bigger price than I expected in the warm-ups, and the mkt didnt really love them.

I think they are as good a bet to beat Pak, as S.Africa were today. 1.49 is massive, and cant understand it.

I would make them 1.33 tops.

Hope it rains early.and CMM sees some life.

Yep, looks like rain will hit according to the rain radar. Might have a little shower shortly then a bigger hit later on.
