I quite like lots of different races one after another it just adds a different challenge, I thought the days of 5 UK afternoon cards on a saturday had gone :)

Sorry if this has been asked before, but why is the money worse in a race following just after another?

Because punters are busy watching the previous race rather than betting so much on the next, plus the previews which be much shorter which doesnt help to encourage people to bet

Quite a good Saturday for me, only slightly behind despite a 44 tick deficit on one race, lol

44 ticks ... eek!

I spent the first 2 hours hopping above/below 0, but the last hour has been good.

I've had a very comfortable day. It was very similar to the same day last year.

Me too, markets traded far more 'truely' than normal. For the most part most of the money coming in was real and when it wasn't it was easy enough to read.

One thing that facinates me is the day to day variances we get. Obviously it will be different from day to day due to various reasons like quality of the racing etc but IMO a great deal of it is caused by the way that bots (or even one giant bot) is set from day to day and how many different ways they are programmed. Most people I talk to who have bots that are very active in the markets only work with very small stakes, but if someone had a giant bot that was putting larger amounts through (which would naturally largely affect the nature of the markets) then it would have to be programmed in many different ways in order to avoid people working exactly how it has been set (were it just programmed in one way.) That's my theory anyway

Hi Folks,

Would the formation of Companies such as Centaur, for example,be responsible for the heavy trading on some markets.

If you have vast sums at your disposal would you be able to manipulate the markets in order to provide regular returns for investors.

Will this become more prevalent in the future.

Maybe we should all pool our resources and give them too the Best BA Trader

Just a thought
