Question from someone less experienced.. what does the 1.04% show? I do understand that it is a % of the total profit, but how do you extract the P/L info you guys are talking about?

If you're on 2% commission and every market is a winning one, you generate 1% commission. So 1.04% would suggest almost, see the link below.

It should be possible to put the fixed % commission and the actual paid into a formula and out pops the strike rate. I've never thought about it properly, but it should be possible to do.

Not that I'm remotely close to being in a position to need to avoid premium charge; or even it being something that I'd necessarily be interested in doing, but out of interest:

What have people's experiences been using Orbit Exchange with BetInAsia which is a Betfair skin/ clone that places the bets for you onto the exchange and is responsible itself for your account activity and commission.

And does laying a winning bet at 1.01 do anything to affect premium charge?

Sorry, there is not much information available on the topic and I couldn't find an answer/ not able to make sense of the stuff in the few threads that do exist.
