And to be honest,this may be a stupid question ,but how come ,some horses go only one way?Answer will be appreciated.

It's the hardest question in trading bimbi. :)

But if the market (BSP) is correct & we are to believe EMH, then one assumes there was new information - that wasn't present prior to the liveshow. The question is spotting when new information is present - which is bl00dy hard! Because if there was no "new info" price should revert back to fair value, yet they look so similar. One would assume someone with "insider" information would be a large player & should leave a clear footprint in the market.

This shouldn't really concern a cold trader; you simply cut your losses before it goes too far.

There are many reasons why a horse would go one way, such as a change in the going, the horse acting coltish or showing reluctance going down to the start. An unraced maiden can crash down one way if there's strong stable support. Conversely, a well bred two-year-old could be short in the morning but if it's not fully tuned-up for it's debut and there's no money from stable and connections it will continue to drift.

It might sound cynical, but when the above scenario occurs couldn't the stable and connections be a big chunk of the lay money on the exchanges, and thus causing the horse to drift like a barge.
