First losing day for a while everything went wrong
I reckon people do it until they get bitten. Then they stop and get replaced by a new wave of 50p takers.
Or perhaps people lose £1000 and try to get it back in 50 pence pieces.

From my database 684,254 runners traded at 1000 in play 518 won, you could get a best selling trading ebook out of figures like those. Also remember the people laying those on a regular basis will be picking up alsorts of stragglers at various price on the way up so bare figures never show the true picture.

God knows how that one managed to win it had a nightmare run and won going away, guess that's all weather racing for you

I think that you would be better off using the £1000 backing at 1.01. I'm sure I looked at the stats of that ages ago just to see how many hit 1.01 and lost. Out of about one million races there wasn't many. How many are there in your database for that? I agree with you though in that we don't know the full picture of what they're doing and it might be profitable, but It's not a strategy that I would use.spreadbetting wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2017 5:12 pmFrom my database 684,254 runners traded at 1000 in play 518 won, you could get a best selling trading ebook out of figures like those.
