I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I'm a bit in shock TBH.
So much Saints possession then 5 sucker punches. I'll have to watch it again later for homework. My prediction was completely wrong.

Can't believe how little Everton strengthened in the window given their performance last season and start to this one !

Sunderland win 5-0 with 32% possession at home.

Martin plays possession football, but defence is weak and attack isn't really there. Other than that.

He really laid into his players in the post-match Sky interview. Sounded almost like a resignation speech to me. Players are fragile little flowers and may not react well to being criticised harshly in public. He's at the very least gambling that the critiicism will spur them on but I kind of doubt it,

The Saints defence was shocking. Just before the 1st goal, you could see the defender just waiting to make a mistake as he stumbled over the ball then looked clueless what to do with it next. So he passed straight to an opponent.

The defence is a real problem, which is why I'm surprised none of that £170m was spent on shoring it up.

I shouldn't moan, Chelsea have spent £1bn and are 0-1 down to Forest at home.

Brighton v Newcastle 3-3 score-line is only 40/1. Can't remember ever seeing it so short pre-match.

No doubt it will take some time for Poch to get this Chelsea squad working.

It's not a good look though losing at home to Forest after the biggest transfer spending spree ever

More homework for me later, that's an inconceivable result. I think Poch is a good manager but Cooper has just beaten him with meagre resources. Let's hope this doesn't lead to a a Potter-like scramble for his services and it all goes pear-shaped.

Lot's of added time is pulling those odds in on more goals.

Superb game Brighton v Newcastle. Brighton just picking off where they left off last season, Billy Gilmore running the show for them.

How do Chelsea keep forgetting to buy a striker, can't even trade them anymore

Just get any tall Scandinavian whose name sounds with HAaland like United did
