Not even done the form yet but this was a big drifter going to post at Leicester last time in a claimer if memory serves me right! Reason heavy drift even though well in on ratings it had started slow and blown the race at the gates last few runs so the layers come after it thinking gone at the game, I certainly thought was done for the season at least. Soon as it broke fine odds plummeted super fast and layers knew there fate. Layers certainly could be back to get lost coin on this so get could be backed. Not done the race yet and when I do won't be sharing an opinion in public like you

Last run was in a seller, where on official ratings it had 19lb ( plus its riders claim ) in hand of its nearest rival, which like the rest of the field was an out of form horse.Like the previous poster said it drifted in the betting before the off, owing to the fact that it had been slowly away in its previous races . It broke well and won easily .
There was no bid for it at the subsequent auction, but clearly trainer Richard Hannon wanted to move the horse on, as it was entered in next weeks Tatts Auntumn sales.
Looks like it's been sold privately as it is now with Scott Dixon .Rated 83, but never going to win off that mark, hence it running in a claimer.

On its best form entitled to be favourite,and at 3.00 one could argue that it represents value .. but it doesn't have anywhere near as much in hand on official ratings against some more in form rivals ...At least 2 of which you could make a case out for .. and if it fluffs it's lines at the start ...

Could win easily but too many "ifs " to be confident either way


Certainly wouldn't be brave( or naive ) enough like SHR to say it "will win " and can't see it starting at Evens either.

In fairness, I think that if you know what you are doing and, as you say, it's a fairly obvious move, then why not - it's a calculated risk. Also, you can give yourself some protection by using "Take SP" anyway.

There's been some crazy early trading on Sporting Bill in the first at Leicester. Backed down to 4.5 and quickly back up to 6.0.

hmmmm... market thinks you're wrong at the mo... if you think 9/4 was value I've had a couple of quid at 7/2 which it is now... didn't even look at the form, just threw my winnings from the first 2 races on it... if it wins I'll paypal you a drink... if it loses, I'll just never talk to you again

Hey, don't sweat it if it loses... you've made what would have been a forgettable claimer a little bit more fun. It takes balls to publically nail your nuts to a public pole... let's hope they don't end up as bruised as your avatar's... lol

I suspect the horse was put in a seller because of it handicap rating and hoping it would be sold at the subsequent auction , backed up by its entry in Tatts Autumn sales, prior to it been sold privately .

Currently trading at 3.95.. which is value... if it's expected to win by Connections. .. then it's a Back to Lay .. because it won't start at those odds if it's "expected "
