It bolted up by 8 and 3 lengths earlier this year. Its only priced the way it is because it missed the break twice on the trot.

I am certain this horse was held back to win the seller last time.

Horse was sold privately on the weekend. There not running for fun. There going for a win.

Expecting this horse to bolt up.

I suspect the horse was put in a seller because of it handicap rating and hoping it would be sold at the subsequent auction , backed up by its entry in Tatts Autumn sales, prior to it been sold privately .

Currently trading at 3.95.. which is value... if it's expected to win by Connections. .. then it's a Back to Lay .. because it won't start at those odds if it's "expected "
I just jumped on as a trade on my betfair account now 30 mins ago. Just from a trading perspective it looks at the top of its price now. 4.5 Is about the limit i think. I will be out at 5s.

Has anyone got a clue what was going on with the High School Days price pre race (1.35 Wexford)?

Completely killed me as it drifted from around 4.2 - 7.0 pre race, then proceeded to smash the field in the race - oh why...? :(

All I can imagine was that those in the know knew that Slippery Serpent was going to be ridden very aggressively... and it was lay to back on High School Days...

Fair idea, but it seemed to get backed once inplay, so can't see any sense in such a heavy drift pre-race.

Do you know what... 7/2 that it would start was a pretty good bet... sorry mate, I really felt for you there...

I'm sure someone will point out the clues were there, but that was a good value bet in my book.

Agree it was good value . And clearly the best horse in the race .. but as you say the clues were all there in the form book .. it has missed the break on several occasions.

So how SHR could say it would win with such conviction . And have " his biggest bet in nearly three years " . Well it beggars belief .. stick to trading .. hmm
